Jinbei KE Quickly Open Octabox with Grid with Simple Click Mechanism

The octagonal Jinbei KE Quickly Open Octabox is the ideal key light for fashion, portrait, and fashion photography with its soft and natural light, creating a natural-looking catchlight in the eyes. The Octabox is equipped with the Bowens S-type mount and is suitable for many battery/studio flash units or LED continuous lights with the appropriate connection. With its click mechanism for the rods, the light modifier can be easily and quickly set up and is ready for use in the studio or on location immediately. To do this, you extend the rods until they click into place and mount the Octabox on the light source – done! The easiest way is to extend opposite rods one after the other. The softbox can be just as easily folded back up: you slightly lift the individual rods at the speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.

From High Contrast to Directed

Soft, higher contrast light with harder shadows comes from the silver interior of the light modifier.Soft, diffused light is provided by the two translucent diffusers, which are easy to attach to the softbox.

The inner diffuser additionally reduces the formation of a brighter light spot in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates a larger illuminated area and further spreads the light. Both diffusers also minimize the formation of disturbing reflections on shiny surfaces – a feature very useful in portrait and product photography.

The included black grid reduces the amount of stray light, directs the light more toward the center, and darkens the outer areas. Without changing the soft light character, the Octabox with the attached grid illuminates the subject more precisely and controlled.

Versatile Use

When folded, the light modifier is very slim and takes up little space in photography gear. This makes it perfect for mobile use and easy to take to all shoots. For use outside the studio or for space-saving storage, Octabox and accessories fit conveniently into the included carrying bag.
