Jinbei Deep Reflective Softbox with Grid and Zoom Focus System

The Deep Reflective Softbox is equipped with the Bowens S-type bayonet and is suitable for many battery/studio flash units or LED continuous lights with the corresponding mount. With its click mechanism of the rods, the light modifier can be easily and quickly assembled and is ready for use in the studio or on location. To do this, you extend the rods until they click into place and mount the deep softbox on the light source - done! It works easiest if you always extend opposite rods one after the other. The softbox can be just as easily disassembled: you slightly lift the individual rods at the speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.Note:

We recommend for octaboxes and deep softboxes with a diameter of more than 120 cm that you do not use them with the SPARK or DM flash series, as it may happen that the locking mechanism of the flash tilt does not withstand the increased weight of the softbox and the tilt of the flash changes.Variable lighting possible using the Zoom Focus System

You can vary the hardness of the light, meaning the hardness of the shadows on your subject, by shifting the light source by up to 40 cm. If you

push your flash further into the softbox, the beam angle of the reflected light is overall more focused and narrower, and thus the shadows are harder. If you push the flash further out of the softbox, the beam angle of the light increases and the shadows become softer. The scale  shown on the focus rod helps you to  reproduce your lighting settings without deviations..

You can easily tighten the focus rod stably with a screw lock. At one end of the rod is the Bowens flash head speedring, on which the light source, e.g., a studio flash or an LED continuous light, can be easily mounted via the Bowens S-type bayonet. The sliding holder of the focus rod has a reflective softbox adapter to which the softbox is attached and which thus completes the illuminated, reflective inner surface of the light modifier. The holder of the focus rod also has a tilt function, with which you can aim the softbox further up or down as desired.

.At the other end of the focus rod is a hook to hang the included sand counterweight. This prevents your light modifier along with the light source from becoming unbalanced when you push the light source out of the softbox. The Zoom Focus System has a spigot adapter,

to attach it to all common light stands.
