Jinbei KE Quickly Open Striplight Series with Simple Click Mechanism

The octagonal Jinbei KE Quickly Open Umbrella Striplight is the ideal accent light with its natural light for fashion, portrait, and fashion photography. It is especially suitable as an effect light, for creating light edges, or to plastically emphasize surface structures. Its setup is super easy and takes only a few seconds. Simply tension the rods until they click into place, mount on the light source – done! The easiest way is to tension opposite rods one after the other. Just as easily, the softbox can be disassembled again: You lift the individual rods slightly at the Speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.

Due to the quick readiness and the robust and durable umbrella construction, the light modifier is the optimal partner for flexible lighting in the studio or on location. The combination of the standard diffusers and the honeycomb makes the Jinbei KE Striplight an extremely flexible tool for optimal subject illumination.

From high contrast to directed

Soft, higher contrast light with harder shadows comes from the silver inner side of the light modifier. Soft, diffused light is provided by the two translucent diffusers, which are easy to mount on the softbox.

The inner diffuser additionally reduces the formation of a brighter light area in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates an enlarged luminous surface and further fans out the light. Both diffusers also minimize the formation of disturbing reflections on shiny surfaces – a feature that is very useful in portrait and product photography.

The included black grid reduces the amount of stray light, directs the light more toward the center, and darkens the outer areas. Without changing the soft light character, the softbox with the attached honeycomb illuminates the subject more precisely and controlled.

Versatile use

Via the Bowens S-type bayonet the Quickly Open Striplight Softbox fits many studio flash units, battery studio flashes, and LED continuous lights with the corresponding mount. For perfect alignment of the light modifier, the speedring can rotate 360 degrees.

In the closed state, the light modifier is very slim and takes up little space in the photography bag. This makes it perfect for mobile use and easy to take to all shoots. For use outside the studio or for space-saving storage, the softbox and accessories fit comfortably into the included carrying bag.
