With the HD-200 Pro you get an especially compact, handy, and lightweight studio flash that weighs only 785 g without the battery but simultaneously offers a solid power of 200 Ws.

So that your creativity is not limited just because your chosen shooting location might not have a power outlet, the flash comes with a lithium-ion battery (14.4 V DC 10 A / 37 Wh / 2600 mAh), which also enables on-location shoots. At full power, about 450 flashes are possible with just one charge.

And of course, the flashes can also be fired in very rapid succession, because the recycling time of the flash is only a maximum of 1.3 seconds. But the flash duration of the flash is also impressive, as it is about up to 1/20,000 s.

in freeze mode. The following modes are also possible with the flash (besides freeze mode): TTL mode, HSS mode, first curtain sync, and second curtain sync.

1. With TTL, you enjoy convenient automatic functions that prove very advantageous during changing lighting conditions in outdoor shoots as they save you from constantly manually adjusting the flash power on the device.

2. The high-speed sync HSS (manual operation only) allows shorter shutter speeds than the usual sync speeds. Depending on the camera model, this goes up to 1/8500 second. With extremely short exposure times, you freeze fast movements, flash against the sun, and use wider apertures for portrait shots outdoors.

3. The freeze mode is also possible with the flash. The room must be dark for this. Here, the flash duration is faster than the shutter. So you photograph at the normal sync speed, but the flash is so fast that it freezes moving objects.
   
   
4. In first curtain sync, the flash is triggered at the beginning with a short sync time, and then the ambient light is used to show the movement.
   
   
5. In second curtain sync, the flash is triggered at the end of the
   shutter speed with a short flash duration after the movement has been captured by the ambient light.

Note: TTL and HSS modes cannot be used together.

The HD-200 Pro is compatible with cameras from Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus, and Sony, but only if you have a radio remote control, such as the TR-Q7 or TR-Q6.

The flash has two connectors – spigot and also 1/4-inch. Depending on which connector you prefer, you can use the adapter to have a spigot connector or use the ¼-inch thread.
