Jinbei KE Quickly Open Softbox Series with Simple Click Mechanism

The rectangular Jinbei KE Quickly Open Softbox is the ideal key light for fashion, portrait, and fashion photography with its soft and natural light, creating a natural-looking catchlight in the eyes. Its setup is super easy and takes only a few seconds. Simply tension the rods until they click into place, mount on the light source – done! The easiest way is to tension opposite rods one after the other. Just as easily, the softbox can be disassembled: lift the individual rods slightly at the speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.

Thanks to its quick readiness and robust, durable umbrella construction, this light modifier is the perfect partner for flexible lighting in the studio or on location. The combination of the included diffusers and the honeycomb grid makes the Jinbei KE Softbox an extremely versatile tool for optimal subject illumination.

From high contrast to directed

Soft, higher contrast light with harder shadows comes from the silver interior of the light modifier. Soft, diffused light is provided by the two translucent diffusers, which are easy to mount on the softbox.

The inner diffuser further reduces the formation of a brighter light spot in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates a larger illuminated area and spreads the light further. Both diffusers also minimize the formation of disturbing reflections on shiny surfaces – a feature very useful in portrait and product photography.

The included black grid reduces stray light, directs the light more toward the center, and darkens the outer areas. Without changing the soft light character, the softbox with the attached honeycomb grid illuminates the subject more precisely and controlled.

Versatile use

The Bowens S-type bayonet allows the Quickly Open Softbox to fit many studio flash units, battery-powered studio flashes, and LED continuous lights with the corresponding mount. For perfect alignment of the light modifier, the speedring can rotate 360 degrees.

When closed, the light modifier is very slim and takes up little space in photography gear. This makes it perfect for mobile use and easy to take to all shoots. For use outside the studio or for space-saving storage, the softbox and accessories fit conveniently into the included carrying bag.
