The Jinbei TD-180 Deep Focus Umbrella 180cm is a softbox with a light characteristic that provides soft light for the Fashion, beauty, glamour, and portrait photography delivers. Unlike other softboxes, it provides more direct light with higher contrast and harder shadows on the subject.

The fixed built-in Zoom focus system allows you to use your umbrella much more flexibly. With the help of the Focusing rod move your light source in the Light shaper infinitely variable. You can easily tighten the focus rod securely with a screw closure. At one end of the rod is the Bowens Flash Head Speedring, at which the light source, e.g. a Studio flash or a LED Continuous Light, is easily attached via the Bowens S-type bayonet. The holder for the focusing rod is firmly mounted in the speedring base of the umbrella and completes the illuminated, reflective inner surface of the Light shapersThe holder of the focus rod also features a tilt function, allowing you to adjust the umbrella further up or down as desired.

At the other end of the focus rod, there is a hook to attach the included Sand counterweight hanging on. This prevents your Light shaper along with the light source goes out of balance when you Light source push out of the umbrella. The Zoom-Fokus-System has a Spigot Adapter, to attach it to all common light stands.

Flexible in the design of light

The Jinbei Deep Focus Umbrella gives you more options for designing your lighting. The included Front diffuser scatters the light reflected by the silver inner coating and creates gentle shadow gradients for a homogeneous illumination.

The 18-sided construction also creates an almost round softbox shape, which is noticeable in the naturally appearing, round light reflections in a model's eyes.

Stable, robust, and versatile in everyday life

The Deep Fokus Schirm convinces with its stable and robust umbrella constructionThe metal rods that stretch the fabric are located in pockets on the umbrella and are fixed to the speedring base. The holder for the Zoom Focus Systems built-in.

The umbrella has an opening with Velcro through which you can pass the cables of the light source, so they don't hang in the way or affect the light.

To protect it when not in use or for transport to shoots outside, store the light modifier along with accessories in the included Transport bag.

Notes on the zoom focus system:
Pay attention to a stable setup and use a sturdy light stand, preferably one with wheels, if you want to move the light source. The construction is less stable than a setup where the light source is on the light stand and the light modifier sits directly on the light source, as here the light source is suspended freely.
Only use the light source in the zoom focus system when you actually need it, as otherwise the weight could cause the flash head mount to deform over time.
This setup is best suited for large rooms, as otherwise disturbing reflections can occur on the walls.
