The HD-2 Max On-Camera Flash by Jinbei was awarded in the Fotohits issue 02/2023.

The Jinbei HD-2 Max On-Camera Flash is the official successor to our successful HD-2 Pro on-camera flash. Equipped with a Lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 1,600 mAh, a Lightningperformance from 80 Ws and one Leitzahl of 60, which is adjustable in 9 aperture steps, it offers flexibility and performance in the portable format.

With a single battery charge, you can reach over 450 actuations, so that you have enough power on the go to capture your subjects exactly as desired. The flash is compatible with Canon, Sony*, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus cameras as well as with the radio transmitters "TR-Q6", "TR-V6", "TR-Q7" and "TR-Q7 II“.

Through the the fast Recycling Time of only 1.5 seconds recordings in rapid succession are no problem. The HD-2 Max is also impressive in terms of Burning time – this impresses with up to 1/10,000 s in normal mode and 1/50,000 s in freeze mode with an effective Flash duration of t = 0.5.

The HD-2 Max offers with the Speedlite Mode, the Master Mode and the Slave mode three different modes of application. In the Speedlite Mode the flash is triggered exclusively via the hot shoe of the connected camera. In the Master Mode The on-camera flash functions as a wireless remote trigger for compatible flashes. The built-in flash of the flash head can be activated or deactivated. In the Slave mode can the flash be triggered via other radio triggers, such as the professional radio trigger Mark II.

The on-camera flash offers users the flash modes TTL and Manual. With TTL enjoy comfortable automatic functions that adapt to changing lighting conditions during Outdoor Shoots as very advantageous, as they save you the constant manual adjustment of the flash power on the device. In the Manual-Mode (M) you can conveniently set the desired flash power, as well as all other settings, manually via the 2.8" large touchscreen adjust.

The flash features the following in Speedlite, Slave, and Master modes Synchronization Modes:

1. The Short-term synchronization HSS allows shorter shutter speeds than the usual flash sync speeds. Depending on the camera model, this goes up to 1/10,000 second.

3. At the Synchronization on the first shutter The flash is triggered at the beginning with a short sync time, and then the ambient light is used to depict the movement.
   
   
4. At the Synchronization to the second shutter will the lightning at the end of the
   Shutter speed triggered with a short burn time after the movement was detected through the ambient light.

To avoid interference when working with multiple devices, you can use 31 channels and 6 groups work distributed. Additional flexibility for creative settings and operation via remote trigger is provided by the integrated ¼"-thread connection on the outside of the HD-2 Max, as well as the supplied Cold shoe stand base.
