With the DP-Ø6 optical focus spot attachment , we want to present you a light shaper with which you can now be even more creative in your studio photography.

And it works like this:Simply attach the spot attachment to your studio flash unit, then attach one of the templates or colored foils supplied to it and then use your device as usual. With the shadows created by the stencils, your motifs now appear as if your model were sitting under a window, for example, through which some rays of the setting sun fall. But not only a window stencil is supplied, but also many other interesting patterns and colors.

In addition, the spot attachment has a lens (150 mm) with which you can focus the effects . Thanks to the Bowens connection (S-Type) , the spot attachment is of course compatible with all Jinbei flashes .

Spotvorsatz mit kleinen Schwächen

DAs Ding ist gut. Klar braucht man recht viel Lichtleistung im Blitz, aber es funktioniert. 3 kleine Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten:
1. Der Vorsatz wird durch das Einstelllicht schnell sehr heiß, man braucht es aber um zu sehen, wohin und wie scharf projiziert wird. Eine bessere Belüftung ist notwendig!
2. Die Orientierung der Gobos im Vorsatz ist oft beim Einsetzen nicht leicht, weil alles verdreht wird durch den Vorsatz. Eine Orientierungshilfe / Markierung, wo in der Projektion oben ist, würde helfen.
3. Die Linse mit 150mm Brennweite ist gut und bildet scharf ab, aber ist für nicht gerade geräumige Studios zu lang mit entsprechend kleinem Abbild wenn man nur wenige Meter Abstand halten kann. Standardmäßig 100mm oder noch viel weniger wären hilfreich.

Coole Effekte

Mein erster Spotvorsatz und er macht Spaß!

Durch die 150mm Brennweite braucht man für größere Lichtspots gerne mal 5m und mehr Abstand. Etwas schwierig indoor.

Welche Objektive mit Canon EF-Bajonet funktionieren denn mit dem Vorsatz? Habe es mit einem 35-105 f3.5-4.5 versucht, aber da kam auch offenblendig kaum Licht raus????????

Die Befestigung der Schablonen ist etwas frigelig- liegen gerne mal etwas schief im Licht und sind so nicht komplett scharf. Wenn es klappt, sehen die aber top aus!

Viele kreative Möglichkeiten

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis des Focus Spotvorsatzes ist sehr gut. Leider waren 4 der mitgelieferten 8 Gobos zu groß und mussten händisch geschliffen werden, damit sie in die Halterung passen.
